I was thinking back to a summer trip when I stayed at a friend's family cabin in Northern Wisconsin. I filmed myself swimming in a private lake that is shared with several other cabin renters. I decided to blur my figure in post-editing after reading that near to zero percent of the population are two or more races. For gallery exhibitions, I loop the video on a tablet that is installed behind museum glass with a white matte and frame.
